Vice President Leni Robredo should pull out from the presidential race for running only to counter her bitter rival former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr., according to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso.
Domagoso challenged Robredo to make the supreme sacrifice and withdraw from the race as others presidential bets are running for nothing other than Filipino nation’s welfare.
“Kung meron mang supreme sacrifice, ‘yung number two should initiate the supreme sacrifice. Let Leni withdraw. Withdraw, Leni,” he said during a joint press conference at a Makati hotel.
“If you love your country. Sila ang laban lang naman nila, laban lang kay Marcos. Sinabi naman nila ‘yan,” he said.

Unlike Robredo, the Manila mayor said he and other presidential candidates are seeking the top government post to serve the country.
“May inaalay kaming trabaho, solusyon,” he said.
“VP Leni said so many times, ‘No to Marcos. Never again.’ It’s always about the Marcos,” he added.
The Easter Sunday event was attended by Senator Panfilo Lacson and former defense secretary Norberto Gonzalez. Neither of the two demanded Robredo’s pullout from the elections.
